Here are 6 rare paris porcelain plates decorated with pompadour roses from the late 19th century. Hand-painted and with a scalloped border, these superb plates are adorned with a double gold and blue border typical of the refined productions of this period. The outer border is adorned with an elegant golden wolf tooth decoration, a testament to the time spent on the finishing touches. Inspired by the "a la reine" model from the manufacture de sèvres, and taken over by louis damon, owner of the store "au vase étrusque", bought in 1887 at 20 bd malheserbes in paris as written on the back of the plates. A great creative, damon owned his own decoration workshop and designed his models himself, testimonies to the refinement of 19th-century parisian porcelain. In perfect condition, these royal plates enchant a table, a meal, an event, or everyday life. Diameter: 24cm height: 2.5cm weight: 2.5kg for 6.
