The Knoll Studio Saarinen Tulip Dining Table is a classic design by Eero Saarinen. In 1957, Saarinen created a fantastic series of tables and chairs, which would come to be known as the Tulip tables and chairs. Characteristic of the furniture in this series is the base, which consists of a single leg that gracefully extends down to a round foot. Saarinen aimed to eliminate the clutter of table and chair legs. In this table series, the foot is not only beautiful but also very practical.
