Reversible Anthroposophical Candle Holder in Lemon Tree, Dornach School

This candlestick is the creation of a faithful craftsman of rudolf steiner's anthroposophist school of dornach. Switzerland or germany, around 1920/1930. It is entirely hand-carved. Each piece is handcrafted and therefore unique. It is a goldsmith's work carried out with a gouge on a piece of solid lemon wood. The bobeches are made of copper. The special feature of this candlestick is that it is reversible: you can therefore place three candles on one side, and two candles on the other by turning it over.
