Charming and rare pair of Art Deco three-light candlesticks in glazed earthenware with a superb wine-red glaze. These elegant pieces feature a highly structured geometric line typical of French modernist creations from the 1930s to the 1950s. The slender arms are enhanced by a delicate relief moulded decoration forming stylised triangular patterns, giving the whole a distinctly sculptural appearance. Their deep wine-red glaze with almost oxblood reflections offers a remarkable decorative presence and beautifully captures the light. This work evokes the productions of the Saint-Clément factory, famous for its Art Deco ceramic creations with refined and bold lines. A decorative pair of high quality, ideal for an Art Deco, modernist, Hollywood Regency, or chic eclectic interior. French work from the mid-20th century, in the style of Saint-Clément. Features: Very good condition. Dimensions: Width 32.0 cm, depth 6.0 cm, height 8.3 cm. Total weight of 867 grams.
