Armchair, 1970

Cantilever armchair in chromed metal and black leather attributed to matteo grassi in the 1970s. This chair has a pure line and a chromed metal tubular structure. The back, seat and armrests are upholstered in black leather in excellent condition. It is stitched with a saddle stitch, a very popular two-needle sewing technique because it is very solid. Two metal hoops with screw threads are located under the chair. They allow the tension of the leather and therefore the firmness of the seat to be adjusted quickly and easily. It is worth noting that the seat seems to be suspended, due to the absence of vertical legs at the back. This design, in addition to bringing an airy spirit to this chair, also offers the advantage of flexibility: it will adapt to the position of its user. With its original curves, this chair brilliantly combines comfort and timeless design. In very good condition, some very slight traces of wear to the leather. 82 X 60 X 56 cm.
