Stool / Anglo-Indian elephant table, hardwood ebonised, circa 1900-1920

Side table with sculpted elephants dating from around 1900-1920, made in the Anglo-Indian tradition and likely of Burmese origin. Crafted from ebonised hardwood, the table features three finely carved elephant heads forming the base, with elongated trunks serving as legs and lighter tusk details providing contrast. The round top showcases a rich natural patina, adding character and authenticity to the piece. Originally designed as a guéridon or side table, it now wonderfully serves as a side table or decorative accent. The condition is vintage, with wear and patina consistent with age and use.
