Set of 8 midcentury wrought iron & rope garden chairs and stools ca 1960s

Set of six foldable wrought iron dining chairs with two matching low stools, attributed to France, 1950s to 1970s. Each chair has a tall, slender iron frame with a woven rope back panel and a woven rope seat. The curved X-form base is hand-forged and folds flat, so the chairs store easily and can be set up when needed. The two round stools have a slim iron frame with a woven rope seat and can be used as extra seating or as side tables. Condition: vintage condition. The rope on all chairs and stools is intact. The iron has a natural patina with age marks, which adds to the character of the set. All chairs fold and unfold as they should. Sold as a set of six chairs with two stools.
