Set of 4 postmodern Sinus dining chairs by Karl-Friedrich Forster for KFF, 1980s

A striking set of four first-generation 'Sinus' dining chairs designed by Karl-Friedrich Förster in 1984 for KFF Germany. Heavily influenced by the postmodern Memphis movement and the geometric purism of De Stijl, these chairs have dramatic curved black sheet steel frames with vibrant red seats and backrests. A highly expressive design classic that serves as an architectural statement in any interior. All remain in very good condition. The black steel frames are structurally perfect with some minor age-appropriate surface marks. The original red lacquered wood remains vibrant, showing some light wear consistent with normal use.
