2 Chairs Lattenstuhl N°145 by Kohn around 1904

This model "lattenstuhl" is so named by the experts of the wood-curved because it is the only chair to be made with sections, backrest, feet and ring that are flat, therefore in the shape of a svet. Only two manufacturers have made it, thonet designed it around 1895 under no. 96 and kohn took it up around 1900 under no. 145, in the same dimensions, the same curves. The special screws of this model requires a very special ergot wree, the same key at both manufacturers. Only one or two details in the design of the seat belt and the stamp make them stand out. Its production is stopped around 1906/1910.it is no longer found after the first war. It is characterized by the slats of the structure, the cross that forms the guy wires of structure in the backrest and by the height of the connecting ring of the feet. Unique! It is the subject of many reproductions still current that sometimes and even often surprise. Original color under schelack mahagoni (mahogany), the brasses of the screws have the oxidation of their age. The six-strand cannages are new, manual in 2.4 by 2.6 as originally.
