"120" coffee table in stainless steel, minimal design by folding metal

The "120" table originated from the concept of creating an object from a sheet of polished stainless steel by bending it and assembling laser-cut components. Breaking the circle down into three 120° segments allows for the juxtaposition of different finishes and color combinations within a single piece. The bent sheets, when joined together, reform a circular structure characterized by a geometric yet lightweight volume. Designed and entirely manufactured in Italy by Matteo Giustozzi. Assembly: Place the three components upside down on a flat surface and screw them together (brass screws). *Shading, marks, and minor scratches are natural characteristics of the sheet metal, intentionally creating an industrial aesthetic. Matteo Giustozzi is a designer and craftsman based in the Marche region, holding a degree in Industrial Design from the Politecnico di Milano. His strong interest in material research and craftsmanship has led him to blend theoretical and practical approaches. He works on installations, production techniques, and education, employing a multidisciplinary method that bridges craftsmanship, architecture, and design. Over the years, the practice has developed research projects ranging from product design to exhibition installations, collaborating with major institutions and professional entities such as the Triennale di Milano, Oslo Architecture Triennale, Venice Biennale, Biennale Internationale Design Saint-Étienne, Ljubljana Biennial of Design, Studio Formafantasma, Space Caviar, Studio Folder, Studio Gisto, Scuola Bauer Milano, the University of San Marino, and NID Peru.
