Mid-century minimalist floor lamp, 1960s

Vintage design. Mid-century floor lamp with a special minimalist base. The standout feature of this lamp is the chrome star base made of square bars, hard to beat in terms of simplicity and understated elegance. Another detail is the height adjustment. Two chrome square bars slide parallel to each other via clips and are secured with a flat roller lever. The lampshade can be moved up and down, influencing the lamp's appearance and the lighting effect in the room. The light primarily emanates downwards and upwards. The drum-shaped lampshade retains its original red covering. Inside, it is lined with a shade box as a diffuser. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina. The electrical system has been professionally renewed.
