Vintage Jielde industrial adjustable factory lamp ^ desk

DESCRIPTION: A very large and practical Jieldé industrial factory lamp / work lamp / desk lamp in matte black lacquered metal, circa 1950. The lamp was designed by Jean Louis Domecq in 1951 to create a factory lamp that can be attached anywhere and can rotate in all directions without the cord getting tangled. It is also sturdy. A very successful design. With the built-in clamp, you can attach the lamp anywhere on the edge. The lamp turns on and off with the switch at the head. The same lamps are still made today but of lower quality. This lamp still has its original Bakelite socket and original matte black finish. In short, a real industrial icon and a very practical lamp. DIMENSIONS: (adjustable) max height: 115cm, max width: 73cm, depth: 20cm. 2 lamps available. CONDITION: Good and working condition, light signs of use appropriate to the age (see last photos).
