Old painting Still Life with Flowers – Oil on cardboard, 1951

An old painting from the mid-20th century depicting a still life of flowers in front of a window. It is an oil on rigid cardboard panel (standard size 6F), signed at the bottom left "Koenig" and dated 1951. The brushwork is textured with post-impressionist influences. The artwork is presented in its original wooden frame with moulded papier-mâché decorations. The gilding has been completely refreshed with Libéron gilding cream, providing a clean, bright appearance and a satin finish. A stable object, ready to be hung.
