Rare DC01 Sideboard by Cees Braakman for Pastoe Netherlands 1962

Great sideboard designed by Cees Braakman in 1962 for Pastoe Netherlands. One of the rarest pieces by this designer. Not many of this exclusive sideboard were made, very hard to find. It consists of two cabinet compartments (each with two cabinets) connected to eachother and a lovely bended base in teak wood. The doors of the cabinets are in off white/cream laminate and have the characteristic black handles, known from the Japanese Series. The sides and the top are in teak veneer. One cabinet has different shelves inside, two have a shelf and one has five beautiful drawers. The sideboard is in overall good condition. Some traces of wear due to time and usage. No damages. For strength and stability we recommend to fasten the sideboard to the wall with a few screws. There's already some holes in the backpanel for it.
