Rare earthenware pitcher from the Gien factory, France 🇫🇷. Abundant hand-painted oriental decoration — motifs of flowers and foliage in black, pink, and gold. Marked on the back: “guaranteed unalterable decoration, fired at 1180°, hand-painted”. ✍️ Hand-signed “JM” — numbered/signed artist's piece, rare and sought after by collectors. Very good overall condition, with slight signs of normal wear for an antique piece.
