Antique mirror geometric border

Antique french 19th century louis philippe style gold gilt mirror with a geometrical decorated frame. This beautiful antique french gold gilt mirror is a typical louis philippe mirror. It has typical rounded upper corners that make it a louis philippe mirror and is stunning with its clean and elegant lines. The frame features pearl beading on the interior perimeter. The mirror has its original mirror plate. The gold leaf gilding shows some slight red bole through the gilding, giving the gold color a warm touch. The glass has a few minor spots – part of its charm – and superficial scratches with no mist. (see detail pictures of the glass). The mirror has its original back cladding and is in a very good state in general. H 138 cm. W 98 cm.
