Large 19th c louis philippe mirror with wavy frame 118x171cm

Elegant large scale 19th century gold gilt louis philippe mirror. This beautiful antique french gold gilt mirror is a typical louis philippe mirror. It has typical rounded upper corners that make it a louis philippe mirror and is stunning with its clean and elegant lines. The mirror has its original mirror plate. The gold leaf gilding shows some slight red bole through the gilding, giving the gold color a warm touch. The glass is still in a very good condition. It has a few small spots – part of its charm – but no mist. (see detail pictures of the glass). The mirror has its original back cladding and is in a very good state in general.
