Very rare floor lamps from the Swiss manufacturer Baltensweiler, designed by Rosemarie and Rico Baltensweiler in the 1960s. The design of the Guggerli lamps is very simple. The spherical glass diffusers rest or grip within a tubular body. The light spheres emerge through the cut of the tube. The body of the luminaire serves as both a support element and a design object. The glass spheres are open at the front. The spheres rest freely on indentations of the tube and can therefore be manually aligned. One luminaire has two spheres, the other three. The wiring through the small vertical slot at the back is distinctive. For stability, a heavy steel cylinder is integrated into the lower part as a weight. The lamps are in very good condition with signs of use and aging (discoloration and slight deformation due to heat and light).
