Vintage Space Age Floor Lamp in Steel and Chrome , 1970's Italian Floor lamp

Offered for sale is a stunning and original floor lamp from the Space Age era, made in steel and metal and highly decorative in its simple yet avant-garde lines. A thin, minimal metal rod, with a square section, holds two lampshades in bent metal, painted cream white. The two white shades are the perfect frame for two light bulbs, that diffuse a warm light and do not dazzle thanks to the chrome-coated upper half. The lamp is pictured with both small and big light bulbs. The lamp, most likely manufactured in Italy during the second half of the 1960s, is anonymous: no labels or attribution marks are present, nor does the style remind of any well-known creator. This, however, doesn't make it in any way less special or charming. Still preserving its original wiring and plug, and the beautiful switch integrated in the base, the lamp has been inspected by a professional electrician and is in perfect working order.
