Large vintage cake stand from the Art Deco period; a pastry dish made of amber-colored pressed glass—also known as "Depression glass"—marked "Fait en Belgique." The design is attributed to the Belgian glassworks Verrerie de Scailmont. Small imperfections, such as mold lines and tiny air bubbles, are characteristic of Depression glass; these are not flaws but rather indicators of authenticity. This beautiful cake stand is in good vintage condition, showing signs of age and use consistent with its age and material—such as minor surface scratches—but with no cracks, breaks, or chips.
