Desk Table in Ash, Mahogany and Cherry, Directoire Style – Mid-19th Century

This desk table opens with two drawers with chiseled lentil knobs whose fronts are in thick ash veneer of about five millimeters. The belt is in cherry with dark recessed sides of recessed ash panels. The top is in blond mahogany also decorated with cherry stop strips. The whole rests on four spindle legs, also in cherry.
