Charming stoneware vase with a globular shape featuring a superb nuanced glaze ranging from turquoise to deep blue with slight speckled brown effects due to the oxides present in the glaze. The surface displays beautiful vertical drips characteristic of studio stoneware firings. The base is left raw, revealing the natural colour of the clay. This piece evokes the ceramic productions of European studios from the 1950s to 1970s, in the spirit of the stoneware from La Borne or the French workshops of the post-war period. The vase is unsigned, which was common for certain artisanal productions. A very expressive decorative piece, ideal on its own or in combination with other stoneware.
