Georges Mathias brass etched table lamp, 1970s

Hollywood regency table lamp designed and manufactured by georges mathias in the 1970s. The table consists of a black lacquered base, a 23kt brass frame holding the etched artwork and finished with the a gold finished shade. All lamps where handmade and depict another natural scene or animal. The lamp is signed ‘designo maho’, maho was a pseudonym mathias’ used for pieces he sold in the flemish part of belgium.
