4 Baumann chairs model Pégase, 1960

Set of 4 Baumann chairs model Pégase attributed to Pierre Guariche. Vintage from the 1960s. The structure is made of solid ash with tapered legs. The seats and backs are wooden, padded with foam, and upholstered in brown faux leather. The faux leather is original with a slightly darker shade at the top of the backs. Chairs are in good usable condition with no breaks and are stable. They have very minimal signs of use, particularly on 2 chairs as seen in the close-up photos. 3 screw covers are missing. These chairs were selected to furnish the Le Corbusier housing unit in Firminy. They are appealing for their airy design, especially the seat which is slightly elevated. Dimensions: width 42 cm / depth 50 cm / height. Back 86 cm, seat 47 cm.
