Secretary / chiffonier with flap from the end of the 19th century

Very pretty secretary or chest of drawers from the end of the 19th century, decorated with marquetry and floral motifs. The marble, in excellent condition, has an animated shape and a pinkish brown color. The contours of the extension at the top and bottom are decorated with bronze. The sides and bottom are curved, emphasizing the sophistication of this piece. The cabinet has four main drawers, each measuring 26 x 41 x 10.5 cm. Inside, a burgundy velvet-covered shelf, measuring 38 cm deep and 42.5 cm wide, provides additional work or storage space. The bottom of the box measures 13 cm in height. This secretary is also equipped with two small fruit wood drawers, measuring 18 x 36 x 5 cm and 18 x 17 x 5 cm respectively. The main shelf measures 20.5 x 38 cm. The overall dimensions of this charming piece of furniture are 125 cm in height (including marble), 66 cm in width and 35 cm in depth.
