Woven coupe plate 1950s by E. Tessier

Woven basket dish / bowl; round format, raised woven base, container made of coils (relief rings), and wide openwork woven rim. In white glazed ceramic, with golden weavings (the gilding is slightly worn, giving a metallic patina effect). Design by Emile Tessier (1887 - 1971), Malicorne factory. Beautiful quality, heavy ceramic! In very good condition, with a fine hairline on the glaze of the top of the bowl (see photos).
