Antique Anglo-Indian carved wooden tripod side table.

Magnificent small vintage side table made of solid exotic wood (probably rosewood from Sheesham / teak), originating from Indian craftsmanship with Anglo-Indian influence, dating from the 1940s-1950s. Its circular top is entirely hand-carved with delicate floral and vegetal relief patterns, highlighting an elegant central medallion. A small missing piece of this inlay attests to its age and authenticity (see photos). The tripod base, finely pierced and adorned with carved foliage, reveals remarkable artisanal work. With its beautiful patina of time and exotic charm, this unique piece will perfectly fit into a bohemian chic, ethnic, vintage decor or in a curiosity cabinet.
