Two Barzoï Greyhounds in porcelain – Carl Scheidig, Germany – 1906–1935. Charming animal group in glazed porcelain, made by the German manufacturer Carl Scheidig in Gräfenthal, Thuringia. The sculpture depicts two elegant Barzoï greyhounds: one standing, attentive and graceful, the other peacefully lying at its feet. Their slender silhouettes, long heads, and the delicate modelling of the fur give this composition a great softness and beautiful presence. The white porcelain, enhanced with grey and black tones, subtly highlights the animals' natural elegance.
