Panton chairs by Verner Panton for Herman Miller / Fehlbaum, 1971

Original set of five Verner Panton chairs, produced in 1971 by Herman Miller, Fehlbaum. Manufactured in black Luran S (thermoplastic polystyrene), this early version features the characteristic reinforcing ribs underneath the seat-to-base transition. An iconic example of one of the first single-piece cantilever chairs in plastic, combining sculptural design with everyday functionality.
