Exquisite Speed Up sideboard, designed by Sacha Lakic for Roche Bobois, in its blush hue. Sideboard with two thermoformed sliding doors featuring a raised design and a central illuminated divider. Fully covered in Daquacryl®, a high-gloss acrylic resin coating applied to wood panels, created and popularised by Roche Bobois. It offers a lacquered appearance with a very deep mirror-like reflection. Interior includes a drawer on the right and a clear glass shelf (8 mm thick). Central leg in epoxy lacquered steel. The facade of this sideboard expresses the movement of a wave, and the deep shine of Daquacryl® enhances the perception. It demonstrates the designer's taste for the dynamic work of materials, the play of volumes, and lacquered reflections. Sacha Lakic, a designer passionate about cutting-edge technologies, has created ambitious designs for futuristic motorcycles and automobiles. For Roche Bobois, he creates fluid and elegant sofas and furniture that combine rigor and sensuality, rational and passionate thinking. With its unique shapes and style, the Bubble sofa, designed by Sacha Lakic, has become an iconic model in Roche Bobois collections. Roche Bobois is a French company that, since its founding in 1960, has been dedicated to marketing high-end furniture collections, sofas, and other accessories. The company was born from the union of Philippe and François Roche, owners of a shop in Paris, and Jean-Claude and Patrick Chouchan, then owners of the Au Beau Bois store. After their meeting in 1960 at the Copenhagen fair, they focused on the manufacture and importation of Scandinavian furniture in Paris. They began selling these pieces and other accessories such as textiles, tableware, and tapestries in their shops. They even dedicated a floor to renovation and decoration projects, thus giving birth to the famous Roche Bobois brand. Over the decades, they have established themselves as one of the most important luxury decoration houses in the world, successfully combining and reinterpreting the tradition of French furniture with foreign influences, both Nordic and Bauhaus. Since the beginning of the 21st century, the brand has expanded internationally with the opening of shops worldwide. It has also collaborated with designers, architects, and artists who have created various furniture and accessories for the brand.
