For sale, a superb vintage flat plate from the Italian manufacturer Ceraminter, dating from the 1960s/1970s. This piece features a high-quality monochrome blue transferware design, directly inspired by the charm of traditional English earthenware (Staffordshire type). The decoration: A very detailed pastoral and bucolic scene at the centre, depicting fishermen by the water in front of a country estate. The rim of the plate is richly adorned with a frieze combining floral scrolls and geometric check patterns. Marking: Stamped on the back in relief: "Ceraminter - Made in Italy". Dimensions: Diameter of 24 cm. Condition: In excellent vintage condition. The glaze has retained its brilliance, and the blue colour is dense and contrasting. No cracks, chips, or hairline fractures.
