Magnificent and rare fish service in monochrome green glazed earthenware, signed by the Jérôme Massier factory, Vallauris. This iconic model is generally dated to the mid-20th century (circa 1950). Composed of: • A large serving platter: This is an oval platter adorned with relief-sculpted fish swimming in the background. The border is characterized by a stylized handle at each end resembling a fish's tail and head or marine rope. • Free-form plates: Each plate directly follows the contours of a fish with superb texture work imitating scales and fins. • The glaze: Its emerald green color has a very bright, shiny glaze.
