Original and rare armchair, designed in 1968 by Niels O. Møller and manufactured by J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Denmark. Model 65 is considered one of the most exclusive and complex creations of Møller's work; it embodies the late phase of mid-century Danish design at the highest level of craftsmanship. This model is distinguished by its fully upholstered backrest and elegantly curved and sculpted armrests, giving the chair a modern, almost architectural silhouette. The massive structure in dark-stained oak has been carefully handcrafted and impresses with its finely shaped transitions and balanced proportions. The chair retains its original upholstery and a beautiful vintage leather covering. The dark wood, beautifully grained, has been freshly cleaned and varnished; it is in very good cared-for condition with slight signs of use due to age. Condition: very good vintage condition – professionally revised. The structure is stable, properly re-glued, and shows only minimal authentic signs of use. An extremely rare collector's piece and a remarkable example of Danish furniture art, ideal for high-end living rooms and dining rooms. Dimensions: approximately 58 × 56 × 76 × 44 cm (width × depth × height × seat height), height of the armrests at the front: approximately 66 cm.
