Elegant armchair model 65 in solid teak, designed in the 1960s by Niels Otto Møller and manufactured by J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Højbjerg, Denmark. Møller is among the great names in Danish furniture design; his chairs embody sculptural forms, noble woods, and uncompromising craftsmanship, which still contributes to the reputation of J.L. Møllers today. The fluid and organic lines are typical of Møller: the armrests describe an elegant arc from the backrest to the front and seamlessly blend into the front legs, while the legs gently taper downwards. The solid teak features a beautiful grain and a warm, vibrant hue. The seat and backrest are covered in a light wool fabric from the Hallingdal collection by Kvadrat – the legendary upholstery fabric designed by Nanna Ditzel in 1965. Under the seat is the original manufacturer's brand stamp. Condition: excellent vintage condition – stable, the teak in very good condition, with more recent upholstery in light wool Kvadrat Hallingdal. A timeless classic of Danish design for discerning interiors. Dimensions: approx. 56 × 54 × 79 cm, seat height 44 cm (width × depth × height)
