Sofa / daybed by Dieter Waeckerlin for Idealheim (Germany, 1950s). A wonderful and rare modernist piece designed by Swiss architect Dieter Waeckerlin. It features a black steel frame and comfortable cushions upholstered in a subtly patterned grey fabric. Thanks to its tilting pendulum mechanism, the sofa can be transformed into a daybed. In very good vintage condition, with a few light signs of use on the fabric.
