Hello, the workshop & studio is on vacation. Shipments will resume on Monday 08/25 but I will be happy to answer your messages. Celeste M. Vintage table lamp, base representing a stylized bird in brown/beige glazed ceramic, found in Alsace and brought up to date in my Strasbourg workshop. Estimated period of origin: 1955-1965. Origin: France. Style (for the lamp base): Zoomorphic and playful shape: very fashionable in tableware and decorative objects of the 50s and 60s where ceramics lent itself to fanciful shapes inspired by the bestiary. This piece was initially a carafe or oil pourer, its nuanced brown/beige color with a patinated effect is common in the utilitarian and decorative production of this period, often in the style of Vallauris or Saint-Clément. Newly refurbished lampshade, slightly flared shape, plain linen color with beige finish. Lamp height with shade: 40 cm. Lamp base width: 23 cm. Lamp base height: 22 cm. Bottom shade diameter: 21 cm. Shade height: 17 cm. It is designed to work with an E14 bulb. New electrical cable and sockets. Indoor lighting: suitable for all rooms, excluding humid areas. CE certified, Complies with European standards. 👉🏼 This is a second-hand lamp base which may show traces of use and time✨. I take care of every little detail to awaken the beauty of all my lamps!
