Vintage table lamp, base representing a stylized bird in brown/beige glazed ceramic, found in Alsace and brought up to date in my Strasbourg workshop. Estimated period of origin: 1955-1965 Origin: France. Style (for the lamp base): Zoomorphic and playful shape: very fashionable in tableware and decorative objects of the 50s and 60s where ceramics lent itself to fanciful shapes inspired by the bestiary. This piece was initially a carafe or oil pourer, its nuanced brown/beige color with a patinated effect is common in the utilitarian and decorative production of this period, often in the style of Vallauris or Saint-Clément. Lampshade redone, slightly flared shape, plain linen color with beige finish. Lamp height with shade: 40 cm Lamp base width: 23 cm Lamp base height: 22 cm Bottom shade diameter: 21 cm Shade height: 17 cm It is designed to work with an E14 bulb. New electrical cable and sockets. Interior lighting: suitable for all rooms, excluding damp areas. CE certified, Complies with European standards. 👉🏼 This is a second-hand lamp base which may show traces of use and time✨. I take care of every little detail to awaken the beauty of all my lamps!.
