Hand carved from a single tree trunk. Very nice grape and leaves decor with its original paint. Originally used as a support pillar. Great decorative piece set in a solid oak base measuring 45x25cm. The column itself has a diameter of about 20cm. Made in france around the 1900s maybe even older. Obtained from a dutch wine merchant who bought the piece 80 years ago in france.
