Arco floor lamp by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos Italy 1960s

Floor lamp "arco", designed by achille castiglioni for flos in 1962. This versatile lamp was created to replace a hanging lamp in cases where there was no electrical box to install a ceiling light. The long and graceful curve of the stainless steel neck extends for about 2 meters, which makes it possible to place the adjustable aluminum head above a dining table or coffee table. The carrara marble base provides a perfect counterweight and is pierced near the top to allow it to be easily moved using a wooden peg. Made in italy. Note: the manufacturer's label is not present.
