Superb and imposing Provençal wedding wardrobe in Louis XV style, featuring remarkable craftsmanship with great finesse. It opens at the front with two large moulded and shaped doors, topped with an elegant cornice in the shape of a gendarme's hat. The solid wood (walnut) piece showcases beautiful sculpted details, including a central daisy on the lower crossbar, a medallion on the frame, as well as long original polished steel fittings. It also has a large drawer in the plinth at the bottom. The whole piece rests on curved feet ending in scrolls. A piece of regional cabinetry of remarkable quality, sound, robust, and in very good condition. Ideal for adding authentic charm and exceptional storage space to a characterful home.
