Large cubist ceramic wall panel by Klaus - Vietri sul Mare

Magnificent large vertical decorative wall panel. This unique piece with a strong visual impact consists of 4 hand-painted glazed ceramic tiles, perfectly assembled in their original solid wood frame. The artwork features the original handwritten signature in the bottom left: "KLAUS VIETRI OF". It is a superb creation hand-signed by the Italian ceramist Claudio Coccorullo (known by the pseudonym Maestro Klàus), working in his renowned workshop in the famous ceramic town of Vietri sul Mare on the Amalfi Coast. The decoration presents a resolutely modern figurative and poetic composition, borrowing graphic codes from cubism and surrealism. Intertwined profiles of faces, motifs of moons, hearts, and marine scenes (sailing boats) strikingly evoke the universe of Pablo Picasso or Jean Cocteau. A centrepiece, very graphic, ideal for adding an artistic touch and a strong identity to a contemporary interior.
