5 cake plates "Fine street lamp" KG Lunéville

Set of 5 cake plates in fine earthenware half-porcelain, stamped kg (keller & guérin) lunéville france, model "réverbère fin". Decorated with bouquets of tulips and roses and scattered flowers (four different designs) on a white background. Waved border, enhanced with a relief and a carmine red line on the edge. In excellent condition: no accidents, minimal signs of use, clean edges; traces of the pernettes visible on the reverse (normal). A jewel of French earthenware, both fresh and majestic, the "fine streetlight" decoration has its origins in Lunéville around 1750, inspired other decorations (eg, "old Strasbourg" by Villeroy & Boch, "Marlborough" by Spode) and was produced until May 2022, the date of the definitive cessation of activity of the Lunéville & Saint-Clément kg factories. The plates offered here date from the 1970s. Diam. 18 cm.
