Bench / stool in carved wood and caning, 20th century

Elegant carved wooden bench, resting on four tapered and fluted legs, in a refined neoclassical spirit. The structure is finely crafted with turned and sculpted elements, particularly at the level of the uprights and the open armrests, bringing rhythm and lightness to the whole. The belt is adorned with a delicately chiselled decoration. The cane seat, in very good condition, gives the piece great elegance as well as comfort of use, while highlighting its timeless character. A decorative and functional piece, ideal at the foot of a bed, in an entrance, or as an extra seat in a classic or contemporary interior. Period: 20th century. Materials: carved wood and cane.
