Oil on panel of geo-gyaniny representing porquerolles. Luminous table with a lot of thickness in colors. Géo-gyaniny was born in paris in the 19th century. He has exhibited at the salon des artistes français and the salon des indépendants. It belongs to the painters of the montmartre school. It was also located at 18 rue d'orsel in paris (inscription at the back of the painting). As in this painting, he often painted the landscapes of the mediterranean. Signed lower left and inscription on the reverse. Gilded wooden frame. Painting in very good condition with some small lack of paint in the least thick but almost invisible places. Fresh varnish.
