Rare solid wood counter from the 1950s. Description and provenance. Authentic piece of furniture from an old shop in Brive la Gaillarde (Corrèze). This counter stands out for its handcrafted post-war construction and generous dimensions. Quality craftsmanship with traditional assembly. The 12 drawers are dovetail jointed, a technique of excellent carpentry ensuring exceptional durability. It also features a shelf on each side of the piece. Condition: the furniture is sound, "in its original state" with an authentic patina that highlights its history.
