The Canvas chair 'Model 2031', Børge Mogensen, Fredericia, Denmark

The Canvas chair was designed in 1970 by Børge Mogensen as one of his last pieces before his death in 1972. It is made of clearly recognisable materials and shapes. The linen canvas is used for the seat and backrest, suspended between conical pieces of solid oak – serving as a soft counterpart to an angular, almost constructivist, solid oak base. This pair of designer chairs is in excellent condition (2022 edition). Oak and black linen canvas.
