Art Deco vase in cut glass Ruby & Diamond

An antique Art Deco vase (circa 1930) distinguished by geometric cutting on heavy, thick glass. It features an elegant gradient of ruby colour, and the base rests on a pedestal adorned with diamond point motifs. The bottom is worked with a star cut under the base. Although unsigned, the finesse of the execution and the contrast of textures link it to the quality productions of European glassworks from the interwar period, particularly evoking the craftsmanship of the famous Val Saint Lambert factory.
