Sommerso vase, flavio poli, murano, 1970 widely regarded as one of the most prolific and skilled creators of vases and murano glass objects in general, flavio poli worked with some of murano's most influential and skilled glassmakers to create pieces of timeless design. Of all his works, those that earned him the greatest fame are undoubtedly the "sommersi", a style that was quickly imitated by other makers and remains very popular to this day.
