Large original antique drawing depicting the decor of a 19th-century French state salon, with a wide-rimmed pitch pine frame from the same period. The drawing is generous, in charcoal, and very detailed for a richly decorated circular room, perhaps a reception or performance room at the Paris Opera. The drawing is unsigned but bears the stamp of an auction house that is difficult to decipher.
