An iconic piece of offices from yesteryear, this 1950s notary desk embodies both understated elegance and the functionality typical of professional furniture from the era. Meticulously renovated, it now serves as a unique decorative element, perfect for adding character, storage, and a touch of authenticity to your interior. Materials: oak front and solid pine structure. Features: this notary desk, also known as a minutier, consists of three columns with eight rows, providing 24 storage compartments closed by a door fitted with a silver metal knob. The knobs, of the same shape and size, exhibit slight variations due to their period manufacturing, contributing to the authenticity of the piece. Renovation: the notary desk has been thoroughly washed and then treated with a protective oil, which has restored the shine to the patinated varnish of the front. The interventions were carried out with respect for the material and original aesthetics. Condition: solid and heavy, the notary desk is in superb condition with some normal signs of wear for its age. All flaps close properly, and any faulty hinges have been replaced or repaired. Dimensions: L112 x D29 x H154. Compartments: L35 x D28.5 x H18.
