Vintage Mid-Century / Space Age Centrepiece Game from the 60s

Elegant and spectacular two-piece centrepiece set, of Scandinavian origin, from the 1950s/60s. The main piece is a low-profile circular plate mounted on a flared foot, finished with a perforated metal band that hugs the edge. The glass is high-quality pressed glass in a beautiful and incredible cobalt blue, with a glossy finish and great solidity. The secondary piece is a matching bowl with an elevated base and a fine semicircular metal handle, which serves as an independent ornamental element. The glass is also cobalt blue, with the same characteristics as the previous piece. In excellent vintage condition, with the glass in perfect condition and the metal showing a lovely patina from the passage of time, which attests to its authenticity. Dimensions: The large bowl has a diameter of about 21 cm, and the basket has a diameter of about 10 cm and a height of about 20 cm. Impressive decorative, design, and collectible objects.
